The two-story, 24,000-SF St. Brendan High School Innovation Center marks the first significant addition to the campus since it opened in 1975. Abundant natural light, free-flowing interior design and open space creates an environment not just for learning, but for social, cultural and intellectual commerce. The structure is an instant landmark because of its soaring, triumphant, cantilevered slanted glass façade, a grand staircase – bathed in floor-to-ceiling natural light – features dozens of benches to foster gathering places for students to bond and exchange ideas. The modern building houses St. Brendan’s four academies: STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), Law and Global Business, Medical Sciences, and Visual and Performing Arts. An elite university-caliber facility on a high school campus, the structure also has space for administration and student services.
