The design of this Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) station transforms the 20-mile South Dade Busway into a modern transit corridor connecting communities along US 1, including the Village of Pinecrest, Village of Palmetto Bay, Town of Cutler Bay, unincorporated Miami-Dade County, the City of Homestead, and Florida City. The station design features a distinctive vault canopy structure, a center platform, and an air-conditioned vestibule. The thirteen stations are designed to improve accessibility along with a park-and-ride facility at SW 168th Street featuring a 5-level precast garage with 670 parking spaces. The garage provides elevator access to the BRT platform below, enhancing convenience for riders. Minor modifications to the SW 344th Street terminal and Dadeland South Metrorail Station are also implemented. A totem sign is developed to provide a unified design for existing stations not being replaced.
