The Ransom Everglades Aquatic Center features two state-of-the-art pools. The main competition pool is an Olympic-size, 50-meter pool with eight lanes and two movable bulkheads, which can easily transform into sixteen 25-meter lanes. The second is a teaching pool with six 25-yard lanes at a four- to five-foot depth that facilitates beginning swimmers. The main pool can also be configured with 20 practice lanes for training. It has eight underwater speakers and a competition caliber gutter system. Championship-level low profile lighting allows the center to host elite level evening events.
