Doral Central Park, the largest park in the city of Doral and one of the most expansive in South Florida, spans 82 acres, including a 25-acre lake. The park features amenities such as softball / baseball diamonds, tennis courts, a conservation area with a boardwalk, an exercise trail, beach volleyball courts, a skate park, a pump track, and a waterfront promenade. The park’s Recreation Center is a 2-story, 70,000 SF facility with multi-purpose rooms, a fitness center, and indoor basketball courts. The Aquatic Center is composed of three buildings — the entrance building, the pool equipment building, and a multi-purpose room building — supported by load-bearing masonry walls and steel framing. The Aquatic Center buildings are 1-story with the exception of the pool equipment building which has a second floor. Additionally, the Amphitheater with an open- air concept features an elevated stage surrounded by retaining walls, with a distinctive roof that widens as it reaches the audience.
