The project is an addition to Miami Coral Park Senior High School, which consists of adding a new 3-story building, 170,000-SF to house 1,700 new student stations along with administrative offices, various labs, and foodservice for the entire campus. The majority of the project is designed as an Enhanced Hurricane Protection Areas (EHPA), with an increased wind speed of 40 mph beyond the code required design wind speed. The construction of the project was coordinated to maintain a fully functioning campus.
