The new design of the two-story retail building transforms this historic 1929 Carl Fisher building into a high-end retail space. The exterior walls that remained were reinforced to meet the current wind loading. The new design preserves the authentic charm of the building, with many expressive structural elements that include a centered glass stair, a 28’x69’ ridge skylight, and a glass
floor extension and guard rails over the open courtyard.
