The Florida State University (FSU) Student Union was originally built in 1952. It was designed to accommodate an enrollment population of just 5,000 students. Currently, FSU has over 4,000 students enrolled. The 4-story, 362,494 SF Student Union is designed to be a place where students, faculty, alumni, and guests can come together to showcase innovation and encourage leadership and development. The Student Union features recreation areas for bowling, billiards, a grill, meeting rooms as well as the senate chambers and lounge space. This cutting-edge facility, provides adequate space for the current enrollment population as well as for future generations to come.
