South Walton High School – Baseball Facilities

The home team portion is a two-story, 4,700-SF building with dugout, locker room and booster seating on the second level above the concrete roof of the dugout. Load bearing masonry walls utilized along with light gage pre-engineered roof trusses and metal decking supporting a mono-slope roof over the locker room. The visitor portion is a two-story, 2,400-SF building with the visitor dugout, press box, concession stand, and restrooms. The bleachers have a shade canopy composed of steel framing supporting a metal roof. The batting building is a pre-engineered metal structure with open netting walls and metal roof. Close coordination with venders are needed for the backstop supports, foul line poles, and outfield fence poles.
