Hebrew Academy’s student-focused new 40,000-SF facility features classrooms with flexible walls and floor-to-ceiling windows, bringing learning spaces closer to the surrounding natural world. Selected classrooms are dedicated to hands-on learning in science and technology, with labs designed with flexible space to facilitate project-based learning. A food court, with indoor and outdoor seating, creates space that is conducive to collaboration between students and teachers. The ground floor is designed for flooding, including a hydrostatic structural slab-on-grade and removable flood panels to protect glazing.
